Two police officials, including a sub-inspector, were martyred in a firing incident near Peshe Khan Chowk in Lahore’s Badami Bagh area.
According to police, the deceased officials were identified as Sub-Inspector Adeel and Head Constable Asad. Both officers were posted at Larri Adda Police Station.
Police teams rushed to the scene shortly after receiving information about the incident. The area was cordoned off, while investigators began collecting evidence and examining the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police officials said an investigation into the incident is underway, and efforts are being made to identify and arrest those responsible for the attack.
