The father of 25-year-old Mir Raza Ali, who was allegedly murdered in Karachi, has denied reports linking his son to the digital currency business.
Raza — an IBA graduate — returned home from his shop on the night of July 28 before leaving again, telling his family he would be back within 10 minutes.
Police later recovered his body from bushes in Block 1 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
Speaking to Karachi Nama, Mir Raza’s father said that his son was not involved in cryptocurrency or digital currency trading, adding that anyone making such claims should provide evidence to support them.
He further expressed suspicion that jealousy may have been a motive behind his son’s killing, stating that Mir Raza was running a successful business and that this success could have led to envy.
The investigation into the case remains ongoing, and authorities have not officially confirmed a motive for the killing.
