Gold price decreases by Rs3,600 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a massive decline on Friday, mirroring the downward trend in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold dropped by Rs3,600 per tola, taking it to Rs421,836.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs3,086 to Rs361,656.

On Thursday, gold prices had climbed by Rs400 per tola, settling at Rs425,436.

In the global market, gold declined by $36 to reach $3,994 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also fell by Rs126 per tola to settle at Rs6,029.
