The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) announced a special working schedule for its field offices across Pakistan on Friday to support duty and tax collection before the end of the fiscal year.

According to an official notification, all FBR field formations will remain open on Saturday, June 27, 2026, and Sunday, June 28, 2026. These offices will follow their normal working hours during the weekend.

The directive covers all major tax offices. These include Large Taxpayers’ Offices (LTOs), the Medium Taxpayers’ Office (MTO), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs).

In addition, the FBR has ordered extended working hours on Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The authority wants to ensure smooth tax payment processing during the final days of the financial year.

The decision will help taxpayers submit duties and taxes without disruption.

At the same time, it will support the government’s efforts to achieve its revenue targets for the outgoing fiscal year.
