Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Saturday, following an upward trend in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs6,100, reaching Rs539,862.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold went up by Rs5,230 to Rs462,844, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, the price of gold per tola had dropped by Rs3,400, settling at Rs533,762.
In the global market, gold prices climbed by $61 to $5,171 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an increase of Rs17, bringing the rate to Rs8,931 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
