TikTok personality Imsha Rehman has granted a conditional pardon to the individual accused in the alleged video leak case, as of Thursday.
Imsha Rehman, last year, faced intense backlash after an alleged private video of hers was leaked, and went viral.
The video spread quickly across social media platforms, triggering widespread outrage and condemnation of the violation of her privacy.
The Islamabad District and Sessions Court convened to address the post-arrest bail application of the individual accused of leaking a video featuring a female TikToker.
The session was overseen by Additional District and Sessions Judge Adnan Rasool Lark. During the proceedings, Imsha Rehman extended her pardon to the detained individual, Abdul Aziz, under specific conditions.
Rehman’s legal representative, Hadi Ali Chatta, stated that the accused has expressed remorse and is not contesting his bail.
He urged that the court order reflect the accused’s genuine regret for his actions.
It is noteworthy that the individual implicated in the alleged video leak involving Imsha Rehman was apprehended by the FIA in Gujranwala.
