Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced the immediate restoration of the Green Channel at country’s airports.
It should be noted that green channel is a fast-track passage at airports without customs formalities to facilitate expatriate Pakistanis.
Speaking at a ceremony organized by the Overseas Pakistanis Global Foundation (OPGF), Sharif praised expatriates for their hard work and contributions, noting that remittances have increased by 30 percent due to their dedication.

To recognize their efforts, he announced that prominent expatriates would be designated as ambassadors-at-large and granted official blue passports.
OPGF Chairman Zahir Akhtar expressed the full support and cooperation of overseas Pakistanis for the government and the armed forces, emphasizing their commitment to a secure, progressive, and prosperous Pakistan.
