ISLAMABAD: Facebook on Monday has blocked live streaming news bulletins from Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) for “raising voice against ongoing massacres, curfew and military lockdown in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” Radio Pakistan said.
The Radio Pakistan on their website shared a screenshot in May and July showed a warning message from Facebook saying “your post goes against our community standards on dangerous individuals and organizations.”

The screenshots are an indicator that Facebook has a history of censoring the content of Radio Pakistan. The trend that it may have continued on its live streaming video broadcasting.
The earlier warning was given on posts showing the picture of Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani, as per the shared screenshots. In another instance, a “mujahid commander Zakir Musa” was mentioned in the lead-in text.
However, Radio Pakistan said that it has made “alternative arrangements for live streaming for its viewers on YouTube.”
