Manzoor Pashteen, the head of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), has been arrested in the border city of Chaman in Balochistan.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the police, Levies, and FC (Frontier Corps) were conducting routine checks near Bab-e-Chaman when armed individuals with Manzoor Pashteen climbed onto officials instead of stopping the car and opened fire.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, in response, officials engaged in retaliatory action, firing at the tires of Manzoor Pashteen’s car.
They mentioned that Manzoor Pashteen and the armed individuals fled in cars, but after a search operation, Manzoor Pashteen was taken into custody from a warehouse.
The Deputy Commissioner revealed that a case has been registered against Manzoor Pashteen for the incident of firing.
