Bollywood’s upcoming new period crime drama series ‘Bambai Meri Jaan’ featuring Kay Kay Menon is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video this month.
The online streaming platform announced to launch of a new Indian show which has been backed up by Farhan Akhtar-led Excel Entertainment. Created by Rensil D’Silva and Shujaat Saudagar, Bambai Meri Jaan has been directed by Shujaat Saudagar.

Bambai Meri Jaan
Giving a touch of fast-paced, gritty ride through the mean streets of fictionalised 1960’s and 70’s Bambai, the series tracks the rise of Dara Kadri, a determined young boy earning his motives in the criminal underworld. Dara’s father, Ismail, is a poor but honest cop committed to cleaning up the city.
Against the backdrop of crime and gang war, this fictional series is said to be a captivating saga of an honest cop who sees his son choose the path of crime to overcome a life of poverty and struggle.
Cast
The series stars Avinash Tiwary, Kay Kay Menon, Saurabh Sachdeva, Kritika Kamra, Amyra Dastur and Nivedita Bhattacharya among others.
Produced by Farhan Akhtar-led Excel Entertainment, the 10-part series is based on a story by crime writer S. Hussain Zaidi.
Release date
Bambai Meri Jaan will stream on Prime Video from September 14.
