The highly anticipated web series, Fatima Jinnah is set to premiere on Pakistan’s Independence Day, 14 August.
Entitled “Fatima Jinnah: Sister | Revolutionist | Stateswoman,” this upcoming series promises to bring to light the extraordinary life of Madar-e-Millat (Mother of the Nation) through three pivotal periods. Audiences will be taken on a journey through Fatima Jinnah’s life in her 30s and the pre-partition era, her 50s during the struggle for Independence, and her 70s in the post-partition era.
The web series spans three seasons and the first will have two volumes and 10 episodes, beginning in 1910.
The first season will explore the relationship between Quaid-e-Azam and Ruttanbai.
The role of Fatima Jinnah across these eras is portrayed by talented actresses Sundus Farhan, Sajal Aly, and Samiya Mumtaz respectively.
The rest of the cast includes Sarmad Khoosat as Mahatma Gandhi, as well as Samina Ahmed, Kubra Khan and model Amna Ilyas.
