Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is making his acting debut with romantic drama film “Nadaaniyan”, which will be released on Netflix, according to Indian media.
Netflix announced on Saturday that debutante filmmaker Shauna Gautam will direct and Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra will produce the film while the film also stars Khushi Kapoor in the lead with Ibrahim Ali Khan. Actors Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj will also feature in “Nadaaniyan”.
“Nadaaniyan,” a tale of first love’s magic, madness, and innocence, follows Piya (Kapoor), a spirited South Delhi girl, and Arjun (Ibrahim), an ambitious young man from Noida. Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, Director of Original Films, Netflix India, said, “Nadaaniyan” will take the audiences on an emotional rollercoaster ride.
Kapoor Sheikh went on saying, “We’re thrilled to expand our roster of romantic comedies and offer viewers a glimpse into the world of young adults— one story at a time,” while producers of Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital arm of Johar’s banner Dharma Productions, said they are thrilled to partner with Netflix on “Nadaaniyan”.

Netflix, with its exceptional reach, is the ideal platform to bring this vibrant and young romantic drama to audiences around the world.” Netflix has not announced the date of release yet.
