Sudesh Lehri, a renowned Indian comedian, has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades. Although he initially struggled, his breakthrough came after appearing on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 8.
According to Indian media, Sudesh Lehri has appeared on various comedy shows, including those hosted by Kapil Sharma. Recently, Sudesh was featured on Archana Puran Singh’s YouTube channel, where he opened up about his challenging journey to success, sharing the hardships he faced as a child.
The Bollywood actor and comedian Sudesh Lehsri recalled, “A drunkard slapped me mid-performance,” describing one of the low points in his career.
Speaking to Archana and her family, Sudesh revealed, “I have worked really hard to get to where I am. When I first started, I faced such struggles that I went bankrupt and had to sell my house. Everyone laughed at me. But when Archana Puran Singh laughed at me, I built many houses.”
During the conversation, Sudesh also spoke about Archana’s bungalow in Madh Island, joking, “I always doubted whether you were truly wealthy, but today, I’ve confirmed it. I’ve only seen homes like this in films.”
In response, Archana mentioned, “I’ve seen your house on your YouTube channel; it’s beautiful. You even have a home theater.” Sudesh jokingly replied, “I built the home theater for Krushna (Abhishek).” When Archana asked why, he explained, “Because his films don’t release in theaters. He always claims they do, but I never find them.”
Sudesh then shared his early struggles, saying, “I’ve worked in small shops, made tea, worked in factories, made footwear, and even sold vegetables. The poor often have to lie to money lenders when we can’t pay back our debts. All these experiences acted as an acting course for me.”
