Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar is facing ongoing social media troubles. Known for her outspoken political and social views, Bhaskar’s account on X (formerly Twitter) was disabled on Republic Day after she shared messages and personal photos.
According to Indian media, questioning the platform’s actions, Swara Bhaskar has now alleged that her account has been hacked. Taking to Instagram, Bhaskar shared screenshots as proof, revealing an email notification from X stating that a delegation invite was sent from her account and accepted by an unknown user.

“And now… my Twitter/X account, it would seem, HAS BEEN HACKED!” she wrote, demanding an explanation. In a detailed note, Bhaskar explained that she was locked out of her account on January 30 following a copyright violation charge, which she has appealed.

She attempted to reset her password but was unable to regain access. Later, she received an email stating that two-factor authentication had been disabled.
On January 31, another email informed her that an unknown user had accepted a delegation invite from her handle, gaining full access to post, send DMs, and create lists. Bhaskar emphasized that she never sent any such invitation and now has no control over her verified X account, ReallySwara. She posted screenshots of these notifications, raising concerns about her account’s security.
