Karachi is a city of diversity, generosity, and opportunity, and keeping that in mind, a determined Karachite has set a high example of service to humanity by providing pricey roti (flat bread) and curry to needy ones at very cheap prices.
This nobleman owns a setup named Aastana Chishtia which provides cheap meals to the poor in Ramzan. Located at Shah Faisal Colony no. 2, his setup sells costly (flat bread) at only Rs. 5 and salan (curry) at Rs. 50.
Inshort, Aastana Chishtia is providing the needy, who are unable to afford food even at the average rate, a meal that they can easily buy and eat that too in the lowest price.
The noble owner told MM News that more than 500 families benefit from this cheap food setup every day. They start selling from 7 pm onwards till 9 pm. Around 400 people eat Iftar and 150 people but during Seheri and after 5 am they close their shop.
The setup is selling a roti at Rs.5, paratha at Rs.20, tandoor rot at Rs10, and a variety of salan (curry) is sold at Rs. 50 only.
The owner runs the place with his capital and others who donate to him, as he has been running the setup for so long, and many people donate to him for this noble cause.
