ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has invited the ruling coalition of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to stop playing with the interests of Pakistan and hold talks for elections in the country.

His demand came within hours after opposition in Punjab Assembly tabled no-trust move against Chief Minister Punjab and Speaker of the provincial assembly, which was followed by an order from Governor asking CM to take vote of confidence.

Taking to Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry said Pakistan was faced with the onslaught of terror wave, and what the country needed most at this time was stability which could only be brought by way of fair and free elections.

He asked as to how much the ruling PDM could run away from elections, and finally it would have to go to the masses. He asked the ruling coalition to stop playing with the interests of Pakistan for the sake of few months in power, and hold talks (with the PTI) for general elections.
