Our leaders are imprisoned without any corruption proof: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the party leaders have been imprisoned for several months without a single corruption being charged against them.

Addressing a media briefing, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Prime Minister Imran on behalf of his party, the premier should appear before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the foreign funding case.

Aurangzeb said that the premier wanted to weak the parliament with his incompetent policies.
Aurangzeb further said that the prime minister always gave examples of cricket but he was not even allowing his opposition to perform the game.

She said, “If Imran Khan has not stolen any assets, then he may appear personally in foreign funding case, address the nation and declare assets of his and family wife’s assets.”

She asked, “Imran Khan, why you have not declared foreign bank accounts in the name of your children and wives?”
She ended her briefing by saying, “The one, who has searched three generations of political rivals, is escaping from the scrutiny of himself.”

Earlier in November,  Aurangzeb lamented that the delay caused by the uncertainty surrounding the removal of Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL) has posed a serious danger to his life.

She said that the board of doctors put together by the incumbent government itself had recommended that Nawaz be treated abroad.
