RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed has said that delay in taking decisions will further aggravate situation which is already changing every hour.

Taking to Twitter, he said the government had already stepped over ‘economic landmines’, and the only solution to the current economic instability was elections.

He said Nawaz Sharif had already missed his ‘political train’ and the government would only dig out its political grave as much as it delayed elections. He predicted that the Chairman PTI Imran Khan alone would defeat all political opponents.

Earlier, talking to a private TV channel, Sheikh Rashid said that political crisis and economic depression had been soaring in the country, adding that International Monetary Fund (IMF) had also spurned and there is no solution other than elections.

He also said that Imran Khan had to decide (about the fate of assemblies) by the end of this month. “The coalition will be losing the game and whatever steps they have been taking they will incur difficulties,” he said, adding that “the country cannot be left to the whims of these people.”
The head of the Awami Muslim League said that the political situation was changing every hour, and it would take time to get the country out of the crisis.
