PIA launches mobile app to facilitate passengers

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has launched a mobile application to facilitate passengers. The passengers can book a flight or confirm their seat online.
According to sources, a PIA spokesperson said that the application will let passengers avail better and prompt service. He further added, “The airliner’s overall seat factor has improved and reached nearly 84 percent whereas, on some sectors, the seat factor is at 90 percent.”

The mobile app is user-friendly and allows passengers to perform numerous functions such as monitoring booking status, booking their flight and the status of the flight simply from their handsets, added the spokesman.
While speaking about operations, he also maintained that significant improvement has been made in different areas including cargo load factor, aircraft utilization and customer service.

The spokesman also revealed that all Boeing 777s and A320s have made operational as well.
