On the other hand, the federal ministers said that the approval of the mini-budget was a positive step towards the economic policies of the country which the opposition’s relentless efforts to stop would fail. Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry slammed the opposition.
It is to be noted that billions of rupees were subsidized in the budget and various taxes were imposed which would result in a burden of billions on the people. Economic analysts say the mini-budget was imposed under pressure from the IMF, which could be a precursor to economic problems.
