Murders, human respect and Islam

Islam is a peaceful religion in which all religions and nations of the world breathed a sigh of relief. History shows that every tribe and nation in the world after gaining power had brutally massacred the followers of other religions, did not tolerate others than their own but deprived the other citizens of their rights of life and even economy.

On the contrary, Islam created an atmosphere of religious tolerance and human rights which is unmatched by any other religion in the world. After the conquest of Mecca, the people believing in other religions used to live and were enjoying equal rights during the regimes of Muslim empires.

Due to differences of religion and nationality, no citizen could usurp the rights of another citizen, but he used to be very careful about non-Muslims. The importance of safeguarding the rights of people believing in other religions can be known from the last advice of Amir al-mu’minin Hazrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq who in his pre-death will asked to “Take care of the rights of non-Muslims because we have taken care of them.”

Islam has presented to the world the idea that “the blood of a non-Muslim is as respectable and important as the blood of Muslims and its blood money is also same. These were not mere words but there were the written rules in this context that were enforced by the Muslims rules including, Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Usman and Hazrat Ali. The Muslim rulers enforced these golden principles through Islamic courts and enlightened the Islamic constitutional history.

On the one hand, the glorious teachings and history of Islam and on the other hand, the Kingdom of God-given Pakistan, from the earliest days of its existence, has been prominent in the world with the identity of an Islamic state. In Quran, there is a clear message of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, “Allah does not like corrupters” (Surat al-Qasas) and in another place he say, “Do not spread anarchy in the land after reform.” Despite this, religious fanaticism and riots in the name of religion are on the rise in our country.

In the last few days, a series of heartbreaking incidents have taken place which has injured the soul of every conscious Muslim. Certainly, it is not possible to imagine such tragedies based on fanaticism in the Islamic State. The Sialkot tragedy is also a link of the same fanaticism. , Where a non-Muslim and foreign citizen was tortured to death on the basis of mere accusations and suspicions by a few mischievous elements and irrational people tried to cover the incident under the name of religion.

The question here is whether a peaceful religion like Islam allows this kind of barbarism and terrorism. Doesn’t Islam have a judicial system? Does Islam allow the people to decide for themselves and impose their own punishment? Not at all.

Islam is a complete code of life that has a strong and coherent independent and sovereign judicial system whose main pillar is justice and only justice where judgment is ensured on the basis of witnesses and arguments. This is also based on the fact in its place that the present courts of the country are incapable of making immediate decisions, but that does not mean that we should take the law into our own hands and start spreading anarchy on the land. The basic lessons of Islam are self-sacrifice and compassion and the teachings of the Prophet are moral and loving.

A villager started defecating in a corner of the Prophet’s Mosque. The people in the mosque started making a commotion and started cursing the villager. The Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him) ordered the companions not to disturb him and asked them to sprinkle water and clean it, when he was done, the Holy Prophet summoned him and told him in a polite way that the Mosque is a place for prayer, not a defecating place. The villager was so much Impressed by the behavior of the Prophet and said, “My parents are sacrificed on you.

An essential thing! Islam strongly dislikes sedition and false rumors and allegations apart from murder and bloodshed, calling it a barbaric act. Even religious scholars do not encourage inhumane acts, so please do not connect such incidents with Islam or the religious scholars.
