ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that no party made any noise of rigging in the NA-133 election yesterday, those who won are happy, those who lost are happy and we [PTI] are already happy.
Talking to the media informally, Sheikh Rasheed said that the youth election was never seen like this yesterday, therefore the opposition surviving with the help of media should learn a lesson from it.
He said that while throwing cannabis in the color of happiness of PML-N’s victory, he said that during yesterday’s election, the biryani and halwa brought by the opposition for the voters did not hit anyone in the face.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said regarding the Sialkot incident that such incidents will continue to happen till the law is not implemented.
Earlier, Rasheed said the educational institutions were being upgraded in Rawalpindi particularly in all underprivileged areas.
He said that a multi-purpose Hall at Government Associate College for Women, Satellite Town was recently constructed to facilitate the students.
The Minister informed that 60 educational institutions were set up in Rawalpindi and the government schools and colleges were being upgraded particularly in areas of poor people. Sheikh Rasheed said, “We are trying to establish an Information Technology University in the city.”
Rawalpindi was at the top position in female education across the country, he said adding, “We have provided education facilities at the doorsteps of the female students. After completing the educational institutions’ task, we would move towards the health sector,” he informed.
The Minister said, “I am thankful to Almighty Allah as I succeeded to complete the mission of education in my life.” Waqarun Nisa Women College had also been upgraded and made a university, he added.
