Celebrities demand closure of Pakistani zoos over poor conditions

Many Pakistani celebrities have stepped up and started speaking about animal rights after the recent video of Karachi Zoo went viral showing the dismal conditions of animals.

Recently a rare white lion died at the Karachi Zoo after an illness after which the Director of Karachi Zoo Khalid Hashmi was removed from his post. Now many Pakistani celebrities have been demanding to shut down zoos in Pakistan because of the poor and deteriorating condition of the animals.
