Video of Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the brutal murder of Noor Mukadam, being dragged out of court in Islamabad has gone viral.
Zahir Jaffer shocked Pakistan when he admitted of raping and beheading Noor Mukadam, Pakistan ambassador’s daughter Noor Mukadam after torturing her with a knuckle duster when she refused to marry him.
On 20th October, he termed the case proceedings against him to be ‘a big joke’ while responding to a media question during his escort out of a courtroom in Islamabad. His footage admitting his sin, in no time went viral where he can be seen displaying his displeasure at the way policemen take him inside the courtroom as he seemingly loses his balance while walking.
Noor Mukadam
Noor Mukadam was the daughter of former Pakistani diplomat Shaukat Mukadam. She was murdered and beheaded in Islamabad in July by Zahir Jaffer, an heir to Jaffer Group of Companies – one of Pakistan’s wealthiest families.
Confession of Zahir Jaffer
An interim challan submitted by the police in the Noor Mukadam murder case stated that Zahir Jaffer confessed to killing Noor after she refused to marry him.
According to reports, the DNA test also showed the victim was raped before being killed. The supplementary challan regarding the laptop and mobile phone reports is yet to be submitted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing. According to the interim police challan, the suspect made a statement to killing the victim and beheading her.
