RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has welcomed US President Joe Biden’s decision to launch a covert investigation into the 9/11 attacks.
According to the details, Saudi Arabia has appreciated the decision to release the documents of the secret investigation of terrorism carried out on September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center in the United States.
The Saudi embassy said that it has always called for the full investigation of the 9/11 attacks to be made public. The 9/11 Commission confirmed that Saudi Arabia had no information about the attacks.

Rejecting past allegations, the Saudi embassy said there was no evidence that Saudi officials were involved in the 9/11 attacks. We have always insisted on transparency in the case of 9/11.
Rejecting the allegations against its government, the Saudi embassy added that baseless allegations would be dropped forever if classified documents came to light. Saudi Arabia welcomes the decision to release the documents.
