Six men accused of gang-rape apprehended in Karachi

KARACHI: Police have apprehended six men including two cops accused of gang-raping a woman in the Shadman Town area.
Police officials claimed they have arrested the six suspects involved in the rape after registering a case on behalf of the woman in Ajmair Nagri Police Station.
According to the complainant, armed suspects barged into her house at 12:00 PM on 26th September and raped her on gunpoint, taking pictures and videos of the gruesome act.

According to the statement of the victim, there were two suspects named as Sarfraz and Kamran Malik. She added that the suspects had threatened her against informing police about the incident.
According to the investigation, both the policeman and the victim live in the same locality. Other suspects have been identified as Abdul Razzaq, Naeem, Liaquat, and Kamran Malik.
The two main suspects mentioned in the FIR have been identified as Malik Danish and Sarfraz, who are serving in Gulshan-e-Mamar and DIG West Office respectively.
