ISLAMABAD: A 21-year-old youth died after accidentally falling from a train.
Sujawal was traveling from Karachi to Islamabad on the Green Line Express when the incident occurred near Lahore train station.
Local volunteers helped take the youth to the hospital but he could not survive and passed away due to his injuries. He was a resident of Satellite Town in Rawalpindi.
Sujawal’s father Malik Ashraf who was also on board the train narrated the incident. He said his son told him he was going to the washroom but moments he heard a man scream that someone had fallen off the train.
The passengers forced the train to stop by pressing the emergency brakes and along with local residents took him to a hospital. The father then reached the hospital on a motorcycle but unfortunately, his son did not survive.
The youth body was brought to his ancestral home in Rawalpindi and he will be buried after Friday prayers.
