World’s most powerful passports for 2021 revealed

The latest ranking of the world’s powerful passports in 2021 amid the new wave of coronavirus pandemic has been announced.

The Henley Passport Index released the latest ranking of the world’s powerful passports in 2021 when many countries are planning to impose lockdown and travel restrictions again. The ranking was announced according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.

It is likely that the COVID-19 vaccination will be declared mandatory to the people who are willing to travel to the destinations in many countries. In this regard, the following are the countries from highest to lowest ranked as the world’s powerful passports.

1) Japan

Japan has once again grabbed 1st position in the global passport index of 2021 as the holders can get visa-free access to 191 destinations around the world.

2) Singapore

Singapore passport holders can travel to 190 destinations around the world without a prior visa.

3) South Korea and Germany

Both countries have been placed in 3rd position with visa-free access to 189 destinations.

4) Italy, Finland, Luxembourg, and Spain

Four countries including Italy, Finland, Luxembourg, and Spain are standing in 4th position with access to 188 destinations.

5) Austria and Denmark

Austria and Denmark stand in the fifth position with access to 187 places.

6) France, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, and Sweden

The 6th position was shared by countries including France, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, and Sweden with access to 186 destinations.

7) Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, UK, and US

Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, UK, and the US have claimed 7th position with visa-free access to 185 destinations.

8) Australia, Czech Republic, Greece, Malta

Australia, Czech Republic, Greece, Malta are placed in the 8th position with visa-free access to 184 destinations.

9) Canada

Canada’s passports have been given 9th positions.

10) Hungary

Hungary’s passports have been given 10th positions.

Moreover, Pakistan’s passport has been given 107th position with visa-free access to 32 destinations.
