RAWALPINDI: A woman embraced martyrdom while a minor girl sustained injuries after Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing from across the Line of Control Monday.
On a social media website Twitter, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar (DG ISPR) said that the Indian forces initiated unprovoked CFVs in Jandrot and Khuiratta Sectors along LoC deliberately targeting civilian population.
Iftikhar further said a woman was martyred while an eight-year-old girl was injured in the incident. The ISPR stated that the injured child has been evacuated and being provided medical care.
