The FIFA World Cup 2026 will kick off with a star-studded series of opening ceremonies across its three host nations, featuring major international music artists including Katy Perry, Michael Bublé, and Alanis Morissette.

The ceremonies will take place ahead of the opening matches in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the start of football’s biggest global tournament.

Mexico City to Launch Tournament Celebrations

The first ceremony will be held on June 11 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, where Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin and South African singer-songwriter Tyla are set to perform. The event will precede the opening match between Mexico and South Africa, officially launching the tournament’s 104 games.
