WhatsApp Increases Pinned Messages Limit to Four on Android

WhatsApp is testing an update that will allow users to pin up to four messages in individual and group chats, instead of the current limit of three.
The feature is being gradually rolled out to some Android beta testers on version 2.26.35.8. Users can pin the fourth message using the same existing process, while all pinned messages will remain accessible from the pinned message bar.
The extra slot could be particularly helpful in busy groups where announcements, instructions, locations and schedules often get buried in conversations. Group admins will continue to control who can pin messages.
WhatsApp has not yet announced when the feature will reach the stable version or other platforms. The company is also testing other improvements to pinned content, including pinned-message notifications and pinned updates for channels.
