UK launches human trials of new coronavirus vaccine

LONDON: A trial of a new vaccine has been launched in the United Kingdom to treat the coronavirus infection.
Volunteers are being immunized to test the new vaccine. At least 300 people will be vaccinated in the next few weeks at Imperial College of London.
On the other hand, the well-known American doctor Fawcett has expressed hope that the coronavirus vaccine will be ready by the end of this year.
According to a foreign news agency, Dr. Anthony Fouchi, a key member of the Corona Task Force and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the United States, recorded his statement to Congress regarding the coronavirus and said that he was very careful. Hopefully, the vaccine will be ready by the end of 2020.
He said the pharmaceutical company Moderna plans to launch the third round of clinical trials by early July 2020. However, that may take some time.
He said a small dose of the vaccine would be given to about 30,000 people to test the effectiveness of the corona vaccine. The number of deaths from the coronavirus worldwide has exceeded 484,000, while the number of infected people has risen to more than 95.26 million.
The number of people recovering from the coronavirus has risen to more than 5.17 million. The condition of 58,421 people affected by Corona worldwide is critical.
The death toll from coronavirus in the United States has risen to more than 124,000. More than 2,462,000 people in the United States have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
