In another milestone for Pakistan, two Pakistani start-ups have been chosen among 23 companies from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region to participate in Google’s inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy.

Google said that the initiative aims to enhance these companies’ AI capabilities and expedite their business growth. The program commenced with a three-day boot camp in Singapore, featuring Pakistan’s AdalFi and Adlytic AI alongside participants from India, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.

The selected start-ups will benefit from over 170 hours of mentorship from AI and Cloud experts, receive up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits, and gain opportunities to collaborate with AI innovators across the APAC region.

Launched in August, Google’s AI Academy seeks to support the growth of AI startups in Pakistan and the broader APAC region, with the goal of fostering cross-border innovations and partnerships. This initiative is designed to promote the exchange of ideas and expertise, positioning the APAC region as a global hub for AI development.
