RAWALPINDI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested three terrorists from Rawalpindi who were involved in attacking Islamabad Stock Exchange.
The CTD claimed that the terrorists had planned to attack the Islamabad Stock Exchange. Explosives and weapons have been recovered from the arrested alleged terrorists. According to the CTD spokesperson, the alleged terrorists were involved in the blasts in Rawalpindi in January, March, June, and December.

The alleged terrorists were arrested from Adiala Road, Rawalpindi on a tip-off. They confessed to killing four civilians and injuring more than 30. The investigation revealed that the accused were planning to attack the stock exchange soon and modern weapons were also recovered from their possession.
The alleged terrorists were in contact with a foreign terrorist organization and a map of the stock exchange and other important materials were recovered from their possession. A spokesman for the CTD said the alleged terrorists had been transferred to an unknown location for further investigation. It may be recalled that in June 2020, an explosion took place in the Saddar area of Rawalpindi in which one person was killed.
