KARACHI: The roof of a house has collapsed in the Machar Colony area of Sindh capital, killing three people
According to details, the tragic incident took place near Babri Masjid in Machar Colony. A mother and her two daughters were killed and two women were injured when the roof of their house collapsed.
Authorities said that the roof of the house that collapsed was under construction where heavy equipment was stored. The house is owned by a man named Dr. Noor Alam whose two daughters and wife died.

Dr. Noor Alam’s daughter and another woman were injured in the incident. The injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital for medical treatment. The dead ranged in age from 15 to 45.
The dead included 18-year-old Yasmeen Noor Alam, 45-year-old Rashida, and 15-year-old Amna Noor Alam, while the injured were identified as 22-year-old Shinwari’s wife Younis and 14-year-old Anwari Noor Alam.
It may be recalled that two persons were killed and several others injured when the roof of PC Hotel Karachi collapsed last night. The injured were shifted to JPMC Hospital.
As the roof of the PC Hotel collapsed last month, more people were feared buried under the rubble, and rescue operations were launched.
