After the revival of the Pakistan film industry in recent years, we have seen some top-notch films being released.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Pakistan, now cinemas are closed on Eidul Azha this year and no new film is being screened this time. However, the three films screened on Eid-ul-Adha last year did well at the box office and made a big splash. Here is a brief introduction to these three films.
Superstar
The gorgeous Mahira Khan had shared the screen space with the young and talented Bilal Ashraf for the first time. the whole movie revolves around the subject of stardom.
Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf have played the roles of Noori and Sameer Khan respectively. The star-studded cast also includes Alizeh Shah, Jawed Sheikh, Nadeem Baig and many more. Depending on the audience’s preference the film was ranked number one on last Eid.
Parey Hut Love
The Romantic comedy featuring Maya Ali and Shaheryar Munawar in the lead cast revolves around the life of an unworried youngster who falls in love with a strong-willed girl.
The plot of this film is based on the 1994 British film four weddings and a funeral. The cast of the film also includes Ahmad Ali Butt, Zara Noor Abbas, Nadeem Baig and Hina Dilpazeer.
The film direction had done by Asim Raza while it had written by Imran Aslam. The film managed to get second place in the fans’ favourites.
Heer Maan Ja
In this romantic comedy film, Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq had played the lead roles. A male and female lead parting ways with each other following a misunderstanding and later their reunion in the film.
This film was directed by Azfar Jafri the film cast includes Faizan Sheikh, Aamina Sheikh, Ahmad Ali Akbar, Zara Sheikh and Mikaal Zulfiqar.
