There is no doubt that the development of knowledge and consciousness leads to social development, which in simple words is called evolution. Therefore, as far back as human life is observed, it is seen that strange periods of society are hidden in the layers of archeology and history. One of these periods is Mohenjo-doro and Egyptian civilization, then there is another period which is called the “Stone Age” and behind that, there is also an age of caves buried somewhere. Man and his consciousness have progressed from the cave age to the satellite age where they are preparing to conquer Mars. But with regard to this long journey, it can be said that evolution has not only given birth to a few periods of human life, but these periods can actually be innumerable in terms of their form and equipment. The division of the Stone Age and the Scientific era is only indicative of a larger division, otherwise, the Scientific era itself has many layers. And the condition of the stone age must not have been the same, but the early part of this period must have been very poor and then the last part was very advanced.
This can be said with certainty because the human mind and consciousness have been continuously developing, so it is not possible that the condition of the stone age was not composed of many layers like the scientific age. Thus, throughout human history, there are scattered signs that on the one hand, the human mind has been giving rise to continuous development, on the other hand, the human mind has been the most afraid of this development. Therefore, as a result of this fear, the entities that created the development have faced severe resistance and violence.
This situation remained in the West as well as among Muslims. But the interesting thing is that the Muslim Golden Age has been recognized by the West as the most important period in human development. Even National Geographic experts have documented the origin of Oxford, the most important university in Europe, in Muslim Spain. So Muslims in their prime are seen as the founders of this modern intellectual development, but when the fall came, the Muslim mind started to fear the most progress.
On the other hand, Europe was afraid of development in the past, but today, when it is contributing to human development, this fear has ended. This meant that both societies were fearless of progress during their period of growth and both were afraid of it during their period of decline. Now if you consider, ignorance is degradation and knowledge is progress. With this, the issue is also resolved what is the real cause of fear and fearlessness? It is quite obvious that knowledge does not fear anything including ignorance and ignorance fears everything including knowledge.
As if the matter is basically the same as what the Holy Quran said, “This is the cycle of days that we people keep going back and forth.” Once we were the most advanced nation of our time, then we were fearless. Then Europe was in the Dark Ages and was afraid. Today, the entire West, including Europe, is in a period of progress, so it is fearless, and while declining, we have reached the age of ignorance, so we are afraid. As if the characters have changed in the days of rotation, the behavior and the results are the same. Now just see the expression of this fear. A hundred years ago, loudspeakers struck fear into the Muslim mind. Radio has long been considered magic. And the motorcycle has also been praised with the title of “Shaitan Charkha”. When the era of smooth roads and motor cars came, the greatest fear of the intelligent people of that era was that the Muslims would become complacent and perish. But when these devices became yesterday’s story in the speed of development and the era of the smartphone came, now the Muslim mind started calling the era of loudspeakers, radios and motorcycles as era and in its place, in today’s history it is Expressing fear that smartphones have adversely affected the act of socializing and sharing each other’s pain. Even children’s physical sports are getting affected which will be a big loss.
“How good was that old time, people used to post on Facebook and express their heart, then friends and family from all over the world expressed their opinions on it, some would cry and others would celebrate it. It seems, if someone showed anger, he would have been blocked, and there would have been colorful congratulatory WhatsApp messages on Eid if people had written one and a half lines on Twitter, it would have had profound effects on the entire country. And now look, the time has come when Facebook has become extinct, tweeting on Twitter is no longer a distant thing, and the children of today do not even know the name of WhatsApp.
It is certain that the time will come when what we are calling evil will be shed in this age. Now there are some questions in which the end of this thread can be found. The first question is whether even in the West, today’s people find the past times better or is this only the behavior of the Muslim society. If this is the behavior of the Muslim society, then is it because the Muslim mind has lost the ability to analyze better? Think about it!
