The Weeknd’s cinematic contribution in ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ in a form of the soundtrack ‘Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)’ has finally been released.
The song was previously teased in the ‘Avatar: The Way of the Water’ trailer which dropped on December 7 and on official accounts of the Sacrifice singer in which his soft vocals are heard throughout the 45-second clip.
The single track was written by the Weeknd and produced by Swedish House Mafia and composer Simon Franglen. The lyrics of the song include: ‘I thought I could protect you from paying for my sins/ You give me strength/ I would do either way/ Nothing’s lost/ No more pain, just you.’
Apart from this movie, The Weeknd has written, recorded, and released multiple successful songs for movies such as Fifty Shades of Grey single’s ‘Earned It’, and Black Panther’s ‘Pray for Me’.

Last month, The Weeknd, whose last album ‘Dawn FM was released this January, announced that he will be extending his ‘After Hours’ tour into 2023, with dates in Europe and Latin America running until the fall.
It comes after Tesfaye recently announced a series of European dates for the new leg of his tour, which included two shows at London Stadium on July 7 and 8.
