TAXILA: The district police claimed to have arrested a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in Taxila, a police spokesperson said on Monday.
According to details, the accused, identified as Afzal, took the 15-year-old girl to an under-construction room of a plaza, where they both used to work. Medical examination of the girl had confirmed the assault.
A First Information Report (FIR) against the accused has been registered by the Potohar police after the complaint of the victim’s brother.
Earlier in December, a female dancer in Gujranwala, who was hired to dance at a wedding function, was allegedly abducted and raped in a car, according to the police.
