LAHORE: The only T20 match between Pakistan and Australia will be played today at Gaddafi Stadium in the Punjab capital.

After yesterday’s iftar, both teams arrived at Gaddafi Stadium for training and both had a full practice session of batting, bowling, and fielding.
In addition, the only T20 match between the two teams will start tonight at 8:30 p.m. It is to be noted that the Corona Tests of Australian cricketers Ashton Agar and Josh Ingles were negative but both the players will be available for today’s match if they are fit.

Sources said that some faces will be changed in both the teams for the final XI. Later, the final announcement in this regard will be made before the toss. It may be recalled that 24 T20 International matches have been played between Pakistan and Australia so far in which Pakistan won 12 and Australia 10 matches while 2 matches ended without any result.
Babar Azam is the top scorer for Pakistan with 317 runs and Aaron Finch is the top scorer with 327 runs. The last time the two teams competed was in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, where Australia beat Pakistan by 5 wickets to knock them out of the event and then beat New Zealand in the final to become the T20 champions for the first time. It should be noted that earlier in the Test series, Australia and Pakistan had won the ODI series.
