LAHORE: The Punjab government has implemented a ban on swimming and bathing in all rivers and canals across the province during Eidul Adha holidays.
The Punjab Home Department has instructed district administrations to enforce this ban, ensuring that people refrain from swimming and bathing in these water bodies.
A control room will operate 24/7, collecting reports from all districts to maintain effective oversight during the Eid celebrations.

Furthermore, Section 144 will be enforced to prevent the improper disposal of animal waste. Disposal of animal excrement into manholes or canals will be strictly forbidden to maintain public cleanliness and hygiene.
