Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trajectory on Wednesday, reflecting the overall decline in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold in the local market dropped by Rs2,245 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs359,055.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,925, reaching Rs307,831.
This decline follows Tuesday’s decrease, when the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,000 to settle at Rs361,300.
Internationally, gold prices also fell on Tuesday. The global rate stood at $3,378 per ounce, including a $20 premium—marking a decrease of $20, according to APGJSA data.
In contrast, silver prices saw a slight increase. The price per tola of silver rose by Rs22, reaching Rs3,878.
