The death of Indian actor Mukul Dev has shaken his family, with the revelation by his brother and actor Rahul Dev that he stopped eating and drinking five days before his passing, as reported by Indian media.

Bollywood actor Mukul Dev’s death has deeply shaken not only his family but also the Indian film industry as revealed by many actors. His brother, actor Rahul Dev, commented on the death, stating that Mukul had stopped eating and drinking four to five days before he passed away.

According to details, actor Mukul Dev, who passed away at the age of 54 on May 23 last month, had been unwell for some time. In a recent statement to Indian media, his brother said that the death of their parents had left Mukul feeling alone in life.

Actor Rahul Dev said that the separation from Mukul Dev’s wife had a deep impact on his life. The late artist had declined several acting projects and confined himself to reading and writing. His eating habits had deteriorated.

“Mukul Dev had to be admitted to the hospital eight days before his death, mainly due to poor eating and drinking habits. Stopping food and drink four to five days prior proved fatal. He felt lonely and had lost interest in life; the will to live was no longer there. I insisted, but he still turned down many acting projects.” He added.
