ISLAMABAD: Australian batsman Steve Smith has praised national team captain Babar Azam and fast bowler Shaheen Afridi.
The Australian Cricket Board released a video on the social networking site Twitter in which the former Australian captain can be seen praising the Pakistani captain and fast bowler.

He said that Babar Azam has silenced the critics with his performance, and he has brought great changes in his game in the last few years. “We have to control him quickly in the series against Pakistan, he is the backbone of Pakistan as a player,” he said.
Steve Smith praised Shaheen’s bowling and said that Shaheen’s game has improved after Pakistan’s tour of Australia. “Shaheen’s ability to swing the ball early is his greatest strength,” Smith maintained. He said that in the series against Australia, Shaheen’s bowling can be a threat to us.
