Elon Musk’s Starlink, a satellite-based internet service, has received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Space Activities Regulatory Authority (PSARA), marking a significant step toward its launch in Pakistan.
This approval, granted after clearance from the Ministry of Interior, allows Starlink to commence its operations within the country. Media reports suggest that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is expected to issue the necessary licenses within the next two weeks. Starlink has already submitted its application along with detailed technical and business plans to the PTA.
The company has successfully completed three stages of registration in Pakistan.
