The provincial government said that if the public transporters do not reduce the fares, strict action will be taken against them. In this regard, the Sindh Transport Department has also sent a letter to the bus owners.
Earlier, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had also asked the provincial governments to bring the benefits of a reduction in the prices of petroleum products to the people.
It should be noted that three days ago, the federal government announced a reduction in the price of petrol by Rs 12 per liter and diesel by Rs 30 per liter.
