The Sindh government has arranged an air ambulance to take the ailing comedian Umer Sharif to the United States.
In this regard, Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab has assured me that the federal government will assist Umer Sharif in obtaining a visa. Umer Sharif’s wife Zareen Umer Sharif confirmed that her husband will go to the US capital Washington by air ambulance.
Moreover, legendary comedian Umer Sharif’s son Jawad has thanked all those who prayed for his father. Speaking exclusively to Geo News, Umer’s son said that he was also grateful to US Congresswoman Sheila Jackson for her concern over his father’s health.

It is to be noted that actor Umer Sharif has been unwell for some time now. According to his son Jawad Umer, his father is suffering from a heart condition and is undergoing treatment.
Yesterday in Karachi, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry also visited Umer Sharif and the federal government announced the formation of a board for his treatment.
