KARACHI: Shaniera Akram, the wife of former captain Wasim Akram, has said that if people did not practice social distancing, they might face a longer lockdown.
Shaniera Akram took to twitter and urged the people to not violate the lockdown, “The more you see people out, the faster the virus spreads, the fuller our hospitals get, the stricter closure of businesses will be, the greater our people will suffer, the longer we will stay locked down. You do the math.”

According to Shaniera, if people did not avoid social distancing there will be a stricter closure of businesses the greater people will suffer.
Shaniera earlier urged the building owners to lower rent for their tenants due to the coronavirus outbreak. “Building owners should show some rent leniency towards their tenants during this time of hardship so that our small businesses don’t close down for good,” she said.
