RIYADH: The Saudi government has banned performing more than one Umrah and imposed a condition of giving 10 days break before facilitating the second Umrah.
According to the details, the Saudi government abolished the facility of paying the second Umrah immediately after one Umrah. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that pilgrims must be given an interval of 10 days between the first and second Umrah.
Permission must be obtained from the Saudi authorities before performing the second Umrah. According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, visitors who wish to perform Umrah at intervals of less than 10 days will not be eligible for a permit.

Saudi authorities have already imposed restrictions on the payment of Hajj and Umrah to prevent coronavirus. Conditions for wearing masks and social distance were imposed in Masjid-e-Haram as well as Masjid-e-Nabawi.
Officials say visitors cannot be allowed to perform two umrahs at a time to curb the growing number of cases of the coronavirus. The Saudi government is committed to curbing the growing number of coronavirus cases.
