KARACHI: Former national cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed has given a poetic answer to his critics.

Taking to Twitter, Sarfraz Ahmed wrote that neither I fell nor the tower of my hopes fell, but some people fell several times in my fall.

The former captain made this tweet while commenting on another tweet in which it was said that Sarfraz left the captaincy of Sindh in domestic cricket last year, he was re-appointed as the captain.

Sarfraz Ahmed was part of the Pakistani squad for the tour of England, he had the opportunity to play in the last match of the T20 series.

It may be recalled that on the second day of the first Test between Pakistan and England, there was a lot of discussion on social media about making former captain Sarfraz Ahmed the winner of the Champions Trophy.

During the Test match between Pakistan and England in Manchester, Sarfraz Ahmed brought water and shoes for Shaun Masood. On which social media users criticized the administration.

Some users said that Sarfraz should have been honored because he is a champion captain and champions are not treated like that. A user shared a picture of Indian captain Virat Kohli saying that Kohli has done the same and the PCB should be criticized on a concrete issue.
